The Challenge
Lindos Blue Resort was paying an average of 19% commission to OTA platforms on every booking. With 40 rooms and a 26-week season, this was costing over €80,000 per year. A direct booking platform was non-negotiable.
Our Approach
We built a custom booking engine in Next.js integrated with a channel manager API. The guest-facing UI was designed from scratch with a clear focus on conversion: minimal steps, mobile-first, real-time availability.
Results
- Direct bookings increased from 12% to 41% of total revenue in one season
- Estimated commission saving in year one: €52,000
- Booking abandonment rate dropped by 34%
